We're so excited to set you up for the summer with this awesome mixed case of some of our favorite wines for all of this season's activities! Here are some tasting notes for each wine:
2019 Mathis Rosé of Grenache (2 Bottles)
Intense aromas of white peach and strawberries are followed by a silky smooth and fresh entry on the palate. The minerality and bright acidity nicely balance the fruit characters -- which are two of the many reasons this wine tends to be such a crowd-pleaser no matter how much or how little you know about rosé!
2017 Loriella Pinot Grigio (2 Bottles)
While this is dry and soft on the palate, it is not a simple Pinot Grigio. It has layers of aromas and flavors, like white peach, melon, and lemon zest. It’s the perfect wine to pair with seafood pasta or a classic cheese plate.
2016 Wine Snob* Chardonnay (1 Bottle)

2019 Unwined Chardonnay (1 Bottle)
This chardonnay has notes of peach, citrus and pineapple, hints of vanilla from the oak that don’t overpower the nose or palate, but enough to add complexity to the wine. It is a delicious appetizer wine with assorted cheeses. 2016 Sessi
2016 Sessi GSM (2 Bottles)
This blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvèdre is typical in Southern Rhône where it is made in a variety of styles. This wine is medium body bursting with aromas of dark fruit, like plum and blackberry. On the palate, it reveals more complexity with flavors of warm baking spices, pepper and then finishes with a hint of chocolate. It will benefit from an hour of decanting to intensify all these notes. It’s the perfect wine for a holiday meal because it pairs well with flavorful dishes like those that will be filling your table and belly!
2018 Mixed Vines Field Blend (1 Bottle)
This unique blend is predominantly Zinfandel, but more than 20 varietals are represented in this wine which gives it layers and layers of flavors. You’ll definitely notice the strawberry and plum from the Zinfandel, but let it linger on your palate and you’ll taste baking spices, black pepper and so much more.
2018 Parables in Red Pinot Noir (1 Bottle)
This is a Sonoma Coast Pinot, which means it was grown in the most ideal growing region for this varietal. Every sip has beautiful nuances of dark red fruits (like dark cherries and raspberries) and that classic finish found in well-made Pinots that’s often described as strawberries on silk. The wine is light enough to serve with appetizers and is delicious with grilled salmon.
2013 Viszlay Five Vines Russian River Meritage Blend (1 Bottle)
This is a true Bordeaux style red wine, which means all five of the red grapes from Bordeaux are represented. Merlot gives it smoothness, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc give it structure and the Malbec and Petite Verdot provide the fruity notes.
