Grilled Peaches with Olives and Gouda paired with Mathis Rosé or Sparkling Rosé, Loriella Pinot Grigio or Domenica Amato Grenache Blanc
This recipe is inspired by one I discovered in Wine Enthusiast and was perfectly paired with a Pinot Grigio.
One of my husband’s favorite dishes is a grilled prosciutto wrapped peaches with burrata salad, so I couldn’t resist trying another grilled peach recipe. Plus, fresh peaches just feel like summertime. The diverse flavors and textures in the salad are more than satisfying, especially with a side of warm bread. This is intended to serve two people.

Why these wines?
The spicy arugula with the sweet peaches and onions, salty olives and earthy gouda is already a party in the mouth but add a bright rosé and the party won’t stop! We love the Mathis Rosé of Grenache with this salad because it is such a versatile wine that enhances almost any dish. The salt in this salad will amplify the red fruit flavors in a Sparkling rosé like the Crush Collection Sparkling Rosé.
Before I go, I want to give a shout out to the tabletop company BE HOME. They make the most beautiful decor for entertaining! The salad bowl and serving set in the header art was a birthday gift from my two Major Crush buddies, Lou & Sonja, and I have to say, they make this delicious salad a feast for the eyes and the stomach!
Cheers!
